Galvalume Coils are cold rolled steel coils coated with an alloy of 55% Aluminum, 43.4% Zinc, and 1.6% Silicon through a continuous hot,dip process.
This unique metallic coating combines the corrosion resistance of aluminum with the barrier protection and sacrificial properties of zinc, offering superior performance and durability compared to conventional galvanized steel.

The result is a highly reflective, corrosion,resistant, and heat,tolerant surface that makes Galvalume an ideal material for roofing, cladding, and prepainted (PPGL) applications.

Manufacturing Process

1. Base Material: Cold Rolled Steel Coil

2. Hot,Dip Coating: Immersion in a molten bath of Al,Zn,Si alloy

3. Cooling & Solidification: Controlled cooling for uniform coating

4. Surface Treatment: Passivation or oiling to prevent oxidation

5. Finishing: Coil form, optionally slit or cut,to,length

Galvalume Coils are flat,rolled steel coils that have undergone a special coating process to enhance their corrosion resistance. The Galvalume coating process involves immersing the steel coils in a bath of molten zinc,aluminum alloy. The coating bonds metallurgically with the base steel, creating a protective layer that is more durable and corrosion,resistant than a pure zinc coating.
